I first started sewing in eighth grade and enjoyed the challenges and satisfaction of creating one-of-a-kind clothing. I continued to hone my skills in sewing throughout high school and as part of the curriculum to obtain a Bachelor of Arts degree in Home Economics. The study in Home Economics gave me a range of education in nutrition, textiles, interior design, style, fashion, sewing, and tailoring. I enjoyed learning all of those areas, but my love of sewing continued to grow. Later, I created my own wedding gown and did alterations for a bridal boutique. I found that of all sewing, I like special occasion and bridal the best. I also have experience making clothing, costumes, and home décor items such as pillows, draperies, and bedding.

I am a member in good standing of The Association of Sewing and Design Professionals. I have been in business for 18 years of the thirty years that I have been sewing. My specialty is couture formal wear for women and girls; including bridal gowns, bridesmaid dresses, prom, and any other special occasion dress. I also enjoy making period costumes and doll dresses.

If you are looking for heirloom quality, one-of-a-kind dresses, or need quality alterations at a reasonable price, I would enjoy working with you.
